1. What Junkt is, and who runs it

Junkt is operated by SlashEquip OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. “We” and “us” below mean SlashEquip OÜ.

Junkt is a hosted key/value store reachable over the Model Context Protocol. You create an account, connect an MCP client, and store small amounts of state that persist between runs. The current limits are published in the documentation and may change; if a change would reduce what your existing account can do, we will tell you before it takes effect.

2. Your account

• You need to be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
• Give us an email address that works. Account recovery depends on it.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything an agent you have connected does. Approving a connector grants it full read and write access to your keyspace.
• Keep your credentials to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has them.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use Junkt to:

• Store anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to store.
• Store credentials, secrets, payment details, or personal data about other people. It is a small operational store, not a secrets manager.
• Work around the account limits, whether by scripting multiple accounts or otherwise.
• Interfere with the service, other accounts, or the infrastructure it runs on — including load that goes materially beyond the published rate limit.

We may suspend an account that is doing any of the above. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will get in touch first.

4. Your data stays yours

You keep all rights in the keys and values you store. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — storing the data, transmitting it to clients you have authorised, and backing it up. We do not use it to train models and we do not sell it. The privacy page sets out the detail.

5. The free tier

The free tier is free, not a trial, and there is no card involved. It comes with the limits published in the documentation. A paid tier with a larger key cap is planned; if it arrives, accounts created before it will keep working on the free tier.

6. Availability

We work to keep Junkt running and boring, because agents depend on it. We do not offer a service level agreement, and the service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. There will be maintenance, and occasionally there will be faults.

Please keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose. Junkt is designed for state that can be rebuilt — a timestamp, a flag, a counter — and not as a system of record.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for lost or corrupted data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings, which removes your account, your keys and your activity history. We may close an account that breaches these terms, and we may discontinue the service — if we ever do, we will give notice and a window to export anything you want to keep.

9. Changes

These terms may change as the product does. Material changes will be announced on the changelog and the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continuing to use Junkt after a change means accepting it.
